Ingredients: Rice (boiled) 1 cup Ginger 1 inch
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp Onion 2 chopped
Cloves a few Tomato 4 chopped
Cinnamon 1 piece Gingelli Oil 4 tbsp
Cardamom a few Red Chilli 3
Garlic 2 pods Green Chilli 1 slit
Peanuts 1 handful
Coriander leaves 1 handful chopped
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Procedure: 1. Take water in a vessel. When the water boils, add the raw rice
2. Cook till the rice is cooked. Drain and keep aside
3. In a wok, add oil and mustard seeds
4. When the seeds splutter, add peanuts, green chilly and curry leaves
5. Fry for a bit and then add onion and salt. Mix well
6. Add ginger and garlic. Add tomatoes and mix till it gets mushy.
7. To this add the coriander leaves. Mix well. Keep aside..
8. In a bowl, take the cooked rice
9. Mix in the above mixture really well.

Capsicum 2 sliced Onion 1 chopped
Gingelly Oil 2 tbsp Urad dal 1 tbsp
Jeera 1 tbsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Chana dal 1 tbsp Salt to taste
Procedure: 1. Cook the rice. Drain and keep aside
2. In a wok, add oil.
3.Add Jeera, both the dals and red chillies
4. Add onion and salt. Mix well
5. Fry till the onions are light brown
6. Add the capsicum and fry till 90% done
7. Add turmeric powder. Mix well.
8. Add the cooked rice and mix. Cover for 5 mins and then serve.

Mustard seeds 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1 pinch
Chana dal 2tbsp Salt to taste
Coriander leaves 1 handful
Procedure: 1.Cook rice. Drain and keep aside
2. In a wok, add oil. Add mustard seeds, chana dal.
3. Add red chilies, curry and coriander leaves and fry
4. Add the peanuts, salt and turmeric powder
5. Cover and cook for a minute.
6. Switch off the flame. Add the lemon juice
7. Add rice and mix well
8. Take off the gas and serve hot.

Oil 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Chana dal 2 tbsp
Urad seeds 2 tbsp
Cashews 1 handful
Red chillies 3
Salt to taste
Procedure: 1.Cook the rice. Drain and keep aside
2. In a wok, add oil.
3. Add mustard seeds, chana dal.
4. Add red chillies, curry and coriander leaves and fry
5. Add the cashews and salt .
6. Add the grated coconut and rice. Lower the flame
7. Cover the wok for about 30 secs
8. Take off from the gas and serve hot
