Ingredients: Tomato 5 chopped Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Onion 1 chopped Salt to taste
Garlic 4 pods
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Cinnamon 1 piece
Bay leaf 1
Red chillies 3
Oil 3 tbsp
Procedure: 1. Chop the vegetable into quarters.
2. Place the wok on the fire.
3. Take oil in a wok.
4. To this add mustard seeds
5. When it splutters, add curry leaves, cinnamon and bay leaves 6. Add garlic, coriander leaves and Red chillies
7. Add onion and salt.
8. Fry for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and fry till mushy
9. Add turmeric powder. Add ½ a glass of water. Boil
10. Boil and take it off the fire.
11. Enjoy this gravy with rice.

Oil 2 tbsp Bay leaf 1
Mustard seeds 1 tsp Coconut grated 2 tbsp
Curry leaves 1 sprig Sambar powder 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Procedure: 1. Chop the vegetable into quarters and put in water.
2. Place the wok on the fire.
3. Take oil in a wok.
4. To this add mustard seeds
5. When it splutters, add curry leaves, cinnamon and bay leaves
6. Add tomato. Add the brinjal, cover, and cook.
7. After 5 minutes, add sambar powder and coconut.
8. To this add half a glass of water and cook for 5 min
9. Switch off the flame and serve hot with plain rice.
