Ingredients: Tomato 5 chopped Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Onion 1 chopped Salt to taste
Garlic 4 pods
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Cinnamon 1 piece
Bay leaf 1
Red chillies 3
Oil 3 tbsp
Procedure: 1. Chop the vegetable into quarters.
2. Place the wok on the fire.
3. Take oil in a wok.
4. To this add mustard seeds
5. When it splutters, add curry leaves, cinnamon and bay leaves 6. Add garlic, coriander leaves and Red chillies
7. Add onion and salt.
8. Fry for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and fry till mushy
9. Add turmeric powder. Add ½ a glass of water. Boil
10. Boil and take it off the fire.
11. Enjoy this gravy with rice.
Ingredients: Chicken – 1 lb (boneless) Turmeric powder – 1 tsp.
Pearl onions- 20 (chopped) Chicken masala powder – 1 tsp
Tomatoes – 3 (chopped) Curry leaves – 1 handful
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp.
Chilli powder – 1 tbsp.
Salt to taste
Procedure: 1. Pour the oil in the wok.
2. On a medium flame, add ginger garlic paste.
3. To this add, curry leaves and onions.
4. Fry for a bit and then add tomatoes.
5. Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, and the chicken masala powder
6. Mix well. Cook till the tomatoes become mushy.
7. Add the chicken and 1 glass of water.
8. Add salt as per taste.
9. Adjust the flame to low and cook for 15 mins.
10. Switch off the gas
Ingredients: Egg – 4 (hard boiled) Egg Masala – 1 tsp
Onion - 2 (chopped) Curry leaves – 1 handful
Tomatoes – 3 (chopped) Coriander leaves- 1 handful
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp Cinnamon- 1” piece
Chilli powder – 1 tbsp Bay leaf - 1
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp. Coconut – ½ cup (shredded)
Salt to taste Oil
Procedure: 1.Hard boil 4 eggs. Peel and keep aside.
2. Place the wok on the fire. Take oil in a wok.
3. On a medium flame, add ginger garlic paste
4. To this add, cinnamon and the bay leaf
5. Fry for a bit and then add onions
6. Mix well. Add tomatoes and cook till mushy.
7. Add the shredded coconut, mix well and take off the fire
8. Cool the above mixture and the grind it into a paste. Add the egg masala too.
9. Take a wok and keep it on medium heat.
10. Add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves
11. Add the above paste, salt and 1 cup water.
12. Half the eggs and put it in the gravy.
13. Reduce the heat and cook for 10 mins.
14. Add coriander leaves and serve with rice.
